This chandelier is made in Italy, sporting twisted steel ropes and cast resin tassels. The glass is a centrifucally molded "alabaster" glass. The swirling lines in the glass are made by mixing clear and white molten glass as swirling them together before molding the glass in a spinning mold. The the banding of engraved detail is a unique feature of this Italian made glass. A white patina is added the the engraving to bring out the floral carving detail.
In addtion to the 5 lights on the arms, there are 3 lights inside the glass which show off the detail and character of the alabaster glass.
