This pendant fixture is made in Italy, sporting twisted steel ropes and cast resin tassels. The glass is a centrifucally molded "alabaster" glass. The swirling lines in the glass are made by mixing clear and white molten glass as swirling them together before molding the glass in a spinning mold. The the banding of engraved detail is a unique feature of this Italian made glass. A white patina is added the the engraving to bring out the floral carving detail.
